Lion Brand Coboo Yarn is a beautiful, lightweight blend of 100% rayon from bamboo and 51% cotton with great drape and perfect for soft, warm weather projects, especially wearables, accessories and even baby blankets! Living in Florida, Lion Brand Coboo have been one of the go-to staples in my stash for years! You’ll also love the ease in being machine washable!

Note: Huge shout out and high five to Lion Brand Yarn for the Business Intelligence Sustainability Award for 2022 that Coboo received!!

Note: I had a tough time capturing the true color of the Lichen colorway. It is more minty than shown in the photos better shown in my photos of the Coboo Top and in the How to Crochet a Granny Square tutorial.

Looking for a similar yarn in Worsted Weight #4? You’ll love Berroco Modern Cotton!

Don’t see the colorway you are looking for, or looking for a larger quantity? Please reach out to me! I am slowly building up my stock, and will happily order any colorway and/or you would like but don’t see here.

Yarn Weight: Lightweight #3

Made In: China

Set Up: Center pull ball that is ready to use!

Fiber Content: 49% Rayon from Bamboo, 51% Cotton

Ball Weight: 3.5 ounces / 100 grams

Yardage: 232 yards / 212 meters

Care Instructions: Machine washable in cold water on the gentle cycle, and dryable on low heat. I do recommend rolling in a towel first to press the water out, and then machine drying. Depending on the project, you may need to run it through twice and/or lay flat to dry remainder.

Knitting Gauge: 23 stitches x 16 rows = 4″

Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 6 / 4mm

Crochet Gauge: 18 stitches x 20 rows = 4″

Recommend Crochet Hook Size: G6 / 4mm, though I find a hook this small takes away the stretch of the fabric, so my preferred hook size for Coboo is an H8/5mm crochet hook.
